Sadie Miller is attempting to change her ways and hide somewhere no one knows her former self. She only wants to finish her final year of college, obtain her degree, and get out from the hold of her affluent parents. Then she meets Brady Carsen, the lead singer of The Invisibles, a local band popular with the college crowd. She tries to stay away but quickly realizes that, although he might not be what she’s used to, he’s exactly what she needs and more importantly, everything she could possibly want. Unfortunately, Sadie’s troubled past left her with insecurities that make her question Brady’s true intentions. And while Brady is convinced that Sadie is the one for him, he has his own secrets that he fears will be their undoing. If they want to be together, they will have to stand united and fight the outside influences that are threatening to tear them apart. Can they put their pasts behind them for good in order to secure their future?

Don't Let Go The Invisibles Michelle Lynn SG Thomas 9781492351023 Books

She had a lot of insecurities and was a push over when it came to Brady. He waited until the end of the book to tell her ANYTHING about his life and she had already told him everything. She felt left out repeatedly because some girl who wanted her man knew the truth and was always around when things went bad for Brady's family. Yes, I would have fought for my man too if some girl thought she was going to work her way into his graces but I still would have given him heck for pushing me away and staying by the other girl. I would not have rolled over and let that go because the hero knew that the heroine did not like that other girl and whether his family had an issue or not, in no way would he treat me like trash or a fifth wheel for someone else. He deserved to be yelled at and have to grovel for his actions. I did not like it all that much.

Don't Let Go The Invisibles Michelle Lynn SG Thomas 9781492351023 Books Reviews

There’s something about Sadie and too good to be true Brady that draws you in. They have typical issues, and typical reactions to their issues that make this college romance flow familiarly. Frankly, it was a comfortable read, with all the loose ends tied up in perfectly anticipated ribbons.
5 stars!!!!!
Def does not cover it for me. This book was amazing. Sadie is @ Drayton University when she realizes she is not the person she want's to be, things she has done, the person she is becoming so she transfers out and goes to Western College for her Senior year for a fresh start. Her roommate is Jessa, and she drags her to a bar/house and this is where Sadie meets Brady. He is in a band and is the total opposite of anything that she has ever fallen for or been with, she fights it of course, he asks her to stay and watch his band perform, and she does stay for awhile, but as soon as he starts to play and I think that she realizes that she could really fall for this guy, she decides it would be better if she just left and she sneaks out before he can see that she is gone. But Brady is not about to give up, when they keep bumping into each other it's a little obvious that they are meant to be. This beautiful story is about Brady and Sadie learning what love really is, about learning to trust and opening your heart to someone even when you feel like you could never do it again. It's about being loved no matter what has happened in your life, or what is currently going on in your life.

There are were some surprises in this book too. I def didn't see coming, and another that i figured out but it was still a great twist none the less. Brady Carsen is such a great guy, he is patient, supportive, loyal, and loving, the perfect book boyfriend. Yes he does have a few secrets, but they are def not "deal breakers". I love how he loves Sadie unconditionally, does not judge, just loves. How perfect that could be in real life. The side characters just made the book that much better, I have read several books, where I could not stand the side kicks, Jessa is a great friend, and just what Sadie needs. Sadie's Mom and grandma LOVE them!!! OH, and Grant!!! yummy!!! Can't wait for his story!!!!

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet love story that warms the heart. I just finished Michelle's other book Love Me Back, and I def needed this heart warming story to snap me back, both amazing reads, but so opposite. Both get 5 stars from me. So if you liked this book pick up Love Me Back, Michelle is a very talented writer, I can see her shooting straight to the top!!!

THANK YOU for your stories Michelle, I can't wait to read the next one. I know it will be great.
Well written but I didn't like the guilt the female had from sleeping around as if it destroyed her as a person and ruined her chances to ever be happy. Women sleep around and that's okay. I need my lead mc to be more secure and confident. And even the male was hiding from a past that to most would be non issues.
So first of all, it's really odd reading romance books from the perspective of a guy vs. the perspective of a girl.

Ten years ago, I would have been falling all over this and related to it 100%. Guys are sleazy, can't be trusted, girls have all the power yada yada. What the main character is slowly realizing is that she's actually the one who is the problem, not him. It's her past that is getting in the way of her finding intimate relationships in which she does not self sabotage.

It disgusts me when girls say "guys only want one thing". First off, yeah, guys want sex. It's in our mindsets, we do think about it often. You don't really know what it's like to constantly think about it until you have 800 mg of testosterone running through your body. So girls, you don't have the right to call us pigs. We do want sex, and it is a priority. It's just not the ONLY thing we want from a woman.

Secondly, I'm very against chivalry. The concept that a woman is so much above a man that she feels entitled to having her meal paid for and chair pulled out is so 20th century. I get that some people are raised on those traditional values and that's ALL they know, but don't feel like I'm obligated to do these tasks for you just on the basis of you being a woman. Nice things should be done for us both. That's what a relationship is. Shared power. Love for both. Two.

Overall, and maybe this is just because of what I'm going through because many of these romances are pretty much the same, it's all pretty gooey. As a guy, I still do get these feelings as they're described by the author. Guys still do like romance. Guys want to feel loved too. As a girl, I really did believe that most guys were bad just on the fact of them being guys. It's to the point where the fathers are telling their daughters that "guys are pigs and only want one thing". It's pretty disgusting.
